母亲节第一次去 Il Fornaio位于Santa Clara的分店，非常喜欢那里的环境和食物。 后来跟好友L也去那里庆生。
独立日带姑姑去她家附近的分店。
Il Fornaio的面包好吃、披萨好吃、pasta好吃… 样样都好，还有很多素食Entree供选择。

Il Fornaio位于Burlingame市中心。 招牌不显眼。 第一次没看见，开过了头。 倒车回来才看见。
街对面有一个很小的停车场，里面停满了车，要到街上找车位。
觉得这里有些东部城市的味道…
进门，右边是酒吧，里面还有一个包间。
左边是饭馆，坐在窗口可以看见街上的人流…
开放式厨房…
门口是带位的女士…
站着的是我们的服务员，穿着牛仔裤和球鞋上班？…

面包烤得酥酥脆脆的。
一般上面搽蒜蓉和橄榄油、撒西红柿粒，这里有三种不同的topping。
Cavolini Al Grana Padano($11.95) — crispy brussels sprouts drizzled with spicy peperoncino sauce
老外喜欢吃brussel sprouts(球芽甘蓝)，有营养。 这道头枱很受欢迎。
用油炸得外酥内嫩，咬起来有汤汁溢出，还有些苦…

这道面食既没有芝士，也没有黄油。 尽是蛤蜊的鲜美和蒜香…
我把每一滴汤都喝完了。 Yummy!
Cannoli Siciliani($11.00) - cannoli filled with sheep’s milk ricotta, candied orange, bittersweet chocolate & pistachios
脆脆的pastry，裹着芝士、糖浸橘皮、和开心果，不甜。 姑姑很喜欢……
Affogato Al Caffe($10.00) - espresso poured over two scoops of vanilla gelato & topped with fresh whipped cream
2大勺意大利雪糕(gelato)，1小杯意大利浓咖啡(espresso)，姑姑说“好正”！
这里以前是Il Fornaio的面包坊(bakery)，现在改为包厢…
账单没有强加小费，没有建议小费的数额，真好！
